⬇️ Download BunnyChat

One installer works on both Apple-Silicon and Intel Macs. After the first install, the app updates itself automatically.

macOS Install on a MacBook

  1. Click Mac (Apple & Intel) above to download BunnyChat-…-universal.dmg.
  2. Open the downloaded .dmg (double-click it in Downloads).
  3. In the window that appears, drag the BunnyChat icon onto the Applications folder.
  4. Open Applications and double-click BunnyChat.
  5. The first time, macOS asks “BunnyChat is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?” — click Open. That’s it.
Because the app is notarized by Apple, you will not see a “cannot be opened / unidentified developer” block. If you ever do, just right-click the app → OpenOpen.

Windows Install on a PC

  1. Click Windows above to download BunnyChat-Setup-….exe.
  2. Double-click the downloaded .exe.
  3. Windows may show a blue box: “Windows protected your PC.” This is normal — the app isn’t Microsoft-registered yet, but it’s safe.
    • Click More info.
    • Then click Run anyway.
  4. Follow the installer (choose install location if asked), then launch BunnyChat from the Start menu or desktop.
“Run anyway” is expected. The SmartScreen warning appears only because we haven’t bought Microsoft code-signing yet — it does not mean anything is wrong. If you don’t see “More info”, click the small text in the dialog first.

❓ Help & FAQ

How do I log in?

Open BunnyChat and sign in with the email & password your manager gave you. If you don’t have one yet, ask your manager to send an invite.

Does it update itself?

Yes. When a new version is published, BunnyChat downloads and installs it automatically the next time you open the app — no need to come back here.

macOS won’t open the app (“can’t be opened”)

Right-click (or Control-click) BunnyChat in Applications → OpenOpen in the dialog. You only need to do this once.

Windows hid the “Run anyway” button

In the “Windows protected your PC” box, click the More info line first — the Run anyway button then appears at the bottom.

Which Mac file do I pick?

Just one — the universal .dmg. It runs on both Apple-Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and older Intel Macs automatically.
